Bio
I grew up on a small hobby farm where an unexpected introduction to horses sparked a lifelong passion. From my first pony, Dime, to representing South Australia at national interschool competitions, my early years were shaped by Pony Club, Dressage, and Eventing.
I discovered my love for teaching while retraining horses and managing operations at Noosa Horse Riding. This experience inspired my EA coaching journey, supported by mentors such as Liz Nijhuis, and eventually led to the development of my own teaching and training business.
I’ve since worked across South Australia, Queensland, and Victoria—including time at Jolong Park under Dirk Dijkstra—while completing my ESI Diploma, which has profoundly shaped my understanding of how horses learn. I’ve produced my Warmblood mare, Babe (Jive Magic x Ferro), from Preliminary to Advanced and now have two proudly bred foals to add to my future dressage team. I continue to develop my skills through ongoing education and international training opportunities.
Today, I coach a wide range of riders—from beginners to advanced competitors—across the Limestone Coast and Western Victoria, run clinics, and am working toward my EA Level One Coaching qualification. I also take horses in for training on my 25‑acre property, which features a covered riding arena with a beautiful Martin Collins surface—an ideal environment for developing horses and riders alike.
