I grew up on a sheepfarm in NZ with sheepdog training being my main focus until I  began my horse training in 2010.  I spent  the first few years breaking in horses in NZ and the USA alongside experienced horseman Steve Houston. 

While working in America I studied Equine Dentistry to accompany my horse training and certified with EGTI ,Idaho, under Dale Jeffrey. 

 After becoming interested in dressage I moved to Melbourne, Australia and spent 5 years working at various dressage stables riding and teaching at riding schools. 

It was lessons to improve my riding from Manuela McLean and Jody Hartstone that made me want to dive deeper into Equitation Science. 

The knowledge gained in my studies has greatly improved my horsemanship, dressage training and helped in my dentistry work on unsedated horses. 

 In 2024 I worked in Germany for Warwick McLean for 3 months, and in 2025 spent 3 months working for ESI graduate and dressage rider Holly Moorman in Taupo NZ. 

 Currently I work as a horse dentist in southern New Zealand while training my own dressage horses and helping riders with their horsemanship.
