Bio
Starting on four legs before I was even on my own two feet, riding a variety of horses in my short time of life, I knew that the equine industry is exactly where I wanted to be. All my life I’ve taken every opportunity to learn and take in as much information as I can to further my knowledge. Whether that be through work and work experience, taking part in and observing lessons, as well as clinics and competitions.
As a kid I was often the “guinea pig” for my mum’s pony breakers, having young horse’s myself, training them and watching them grow and learn. I’ve always taken interest into training horses as a future profession. After searching around for somewhere to study, as soon as I found and read into the Equitation Science course, I knew exactly what I wanted to study, which I have learnt so many valuable skills from.
Shortly after commencing this course, I started working in the racing industry. I have taken retired racehorse’s on since then and by applying the ESI studies into retraining them, I have found a major positive difference in the horse’s retraining, compared to other styles of training from just a few sessions.
I can’t wait to put my learning into my work with horse’s and hopefully my own cliental focusing on working with retired racehorse’s, behavioural problemed horses and starting young horses; and I can’t wait to continue to develop more qualifications, learn and grow as both a horse enthusiasts and trainer.
