Tayla has ridden and competed horses her whole life and always had a practical and ethical viewpoint when training horses. When she was introduced to equitation science she applied to be a working pupil at the Australian Equine Behaviour Centre, after her position as a working pupil finished Tayla then came back and joined the team at the AEBC as a trainee trainer for 1 and ½ years before returning home to New Zealand.

Tayla has experience in many fields of the equine industry including:

-Coaching adults and children
-Teaching at pony club/ Clinics
-Riding Track work (Thoroughbreds)
-Yearling preparation
-Competing in dressage, show jumping and eventing
-Retraining
-Foundation training
-Float training
-Ground work
-General training in dressage/ show jumping
-Retraining off the track thoroughbreds
-Sales on behalf
-Pony training/ retraining/ foundation training

Tayla is currently working towards a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with the aim to specialise as an equine vet.
