Bio
Horses have always been a big part of Amy’s life, from her childhood in the UK, now through to young adulthood in Australia. She has always strived to give any horse she has had dealings with, the best of experiences and make all interactions with them positive ones. She is very passionate about her horse, Ace, (an Australian Brumby) having regularly ridden and participated at PonyClub, local shows and ODE’s.
Amy started her working career within the Thoroughbred industry and has gained 5 years experience as a stud hand working for 2 commercial stud farms. Now, having recently completed the Diploma, Amy is excited to implement her new skills to benefit and improve the interaction between humans and equines. Through learning theory, the ES training scale and combined reinforcement, Amy can help promote successful / rewarding relationships between people and horses. Whether this be in hand or under saddle, there are so many possibilities with Equitation Science that can benefit your horse and their well-being.
