I am an Italian television writer, and for many years my work has been about telling stories through images, music and emotion. My profession has taught me to observe carefully, to notice the smallest details and to tell an entire story in just a few frames.
Perhaps that is why I have always loved horses.

Working with horses feels surprisingly similar to my work in television. Sometimes a single glance, a subtle change in posture, or the smallest variation in movement can reveal an entire world—if we know how to see it.

I’ve always believed that observing is, above all, an act of respect. Looking beyond the obvious, taking the time to understand rather than judge, has always been part of who I am.
Studying Equitation Science gave me something extraordinary: it didn’t change the way I observe—it gave me the knowledge and the tools to understand what I was seeing. It taught me to interpret the horse’s subtle language through science, to recognise the meaning behind posture, movement and behaviour, and to appreciate how every horse tells its own story.
Completing the 11363NAT Diploma of Equitation Science with Equitation Science International has been one of the most enriching experiences of my life. It has changed the way I see horses and, in many ways, the way I see the world.
Today, I believe that science and empathy belong together. Knowledge allows us to understand the horse; empathy allows us to truly listen. Every horse deserves to be understood before being trained.
If what I have learned can help even one horse and one rider build a kinder, clearer and more respectful relationship, then sharing that knowledge will have been worthwhile. It would be my way of giving back for everything horses have given me throughout my life.
