Bio

Chelsea has owned and trained horses for the past 17 years. Since 2014, she has owned and operated a boutique warmblood stud in Northern NSW.

Starting in pony club, like many others, Chelsea initially had a keen interest in eventing and jumped to “A” grade. As an adult, Chelsea has pursued Dressage, competing to Prix St George and Showing at Royal level. Chelsea values having a connection to grass roots equestrian sports. Over the past 10 years, regularly judging, community coaching and developing the ‘Young Rider Program’ with the local riding club.

Searching for an approach with the right feeling and simplicity needed to progress horses up the levels led her to the AEBC from a young age. Initially guided by her mother, a psychologist whom shared the passion for horse training but wanted to raise her children as horsewoman with strong ‘behaviourist’ practices. It had been a goal for some time for Chelsea to complete the ESI Diploma. The journey of learning the simple, scientific and measurable approach of modern equitation has been a joy and one Chelsea is eager to continue as a lifelong passion.

Chelsea is an experienced clinician, trainer and coach based in Northern NSW. Enquiries are welcome via email for students and clubs for clinic and individual coaching bookings.
