Bio

Dalith has been around horses all her life. The connection between humans and animals has been a keypart of growing up, never to think this amazing hobby would eventually be a career option. After finalising a degree in Pedagogy at the high school of Utrecht, she decided to travel to Australia to explore life and backpack around. Through a friend she learned about the studies in equitation science. All pieces connected the moment she started to work as a working pupil at AEBC and later became stable manager and junior trainer under Rikke Andreassen and Alistair Mclean for about 2 years. During that time she finished her Diploma of Equitation Science at the Australian Equine Behaviour Centre and loved every part of it.

The stepping stones offered during the ESI education, to make training easy to understand an fun for horse and handler, were an eye opener and highly rewarding by the positive ways the horses were responding. Seeking connection through clear communication and understanding the principles behind training made so much sense.

To dive deeper into the psychological side of horse training was aligned with her interest in human psychology. After coming home she worked with people with trauma and anxiety, using horses and their way of viewing life as a key compound. She was part of creating a place were horses could be worked in therapy facilities whilst their welfare remained the first priority.

She is available for a variety of training:

Improving groundwork

Teaching people who experience fear around their horse, either on the ground or under saddle

Kids riding lessons

Foundation training for young horses

Schooling horses through the dressage levels

Retraining behavioural issues

Dressage riding lessons
