Jane has spent a lifetime in the equestrian world, riding, training and showing. Her early competitive focus was upper level Eventing including being long-listed to the Canadian Team and then more recently competing at FEI PGS and I1 level dressage. Her career path and passion however, is coaching riders of all ages and skill levels and helping them understand and train their horses.

Jane started to follow Equitation Science several years ago and in April 2017 completed the Diploma of Equitation Science to add to Canadian Coaching High Performance Coach and Equestrian Canada Level 3 Event Coach qualifications.

Working with a wide variety of horses and riders of all levels, Jane uses the principles of Equitation Science to improve performance by creating a calm and obedient horse while keeping the welfare of the horse paramount. Her riders enjoy learning how horses learn and ways they can communicate effectively both on the ground and under saddle.

Based on Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada Jane also enjoys travelling for clinics doing dressage, jumping and cross country at all levels and introducing riders to the benefits of Equitation Science.
